What Gunita collects

To run a film, Gunita stores the information needed for the account and event:

• Your host email, password hash, and active session information.
• Event details such as the name, date, plan, reveal time, and payment status.
• Guest names, browser information, access times, and the photos they take.
• Payment proof and support messages when you choose to send them.

How the information is used

Gunita uses this information to operate the guest camera, enforce the event capacity, process bookings, reveal the album, provide downloads, and answer support requests. It is not used to sell advertising.

Who can see event photos

People who receive an event link can use the guest camera while the film is live. The album stays hidden until the host's chosen reveal. After the reveal, anyone with the event link may be able to view the album, so hosts should share it only with intended guests.

Storage and account security

Account passwords are stored as password hashes, and account sessions use HTTP-only cookies. Event records, photos, payment proof, and support messages are stored by the service so the booking continues to work.

Retention and deletion

Revealed albums remain available for 30 days. After that window, public album access expires. A host can also request deletion of an account or event through the support chat after signing in. A request may require identity and booking verification before data is removed.

Hosts can contact Gunita through the support chat in their account. If you are a guest, contact the event host first because they control who receives the event link.
